My current research focuses on the entangled histories of anarchism, visual culture, and modern art in early twentieth-century Mexico and the broader Americas. I am at work on a book manuscript titled Anarchism and Revolutionary Art in Greater Mexico, 1910-1940, as well as two research articles: one on Mexican muralism and a second on the visual culture of anarcho-feminism in Brazil and Mexico. I have carried out research at archives and museums in Mexico, the United States, Brazil, and the Netherlands, and my work has been funded by the Fulbright Foundation, the Getty Research Institute, the Ibero-Amerikanisches Institut Berlin, and the Library of Congress.
